The Immersion Program offers some courses that involve additional travel costs. For those courses, the school will require a payment over and above the Immersion fee that was included in this year’s enrollment contract. 

To assist families who are able to demonstrate the need for financial assistance, a limited amount of support is available. The Immersion Financial Support Applicationshould be fully completed and submitted to the Business Office, attention Pam Tiangco, together with a signed copy of your 2016 individual federal income tax return. Families who have already provided their 2016 tax returns for financial support from Oakwood need submit only the Immersion Financial Support Application.

For trips costing $3,000 or more, the maximum financial assistance will be two-thirds of the course fee. 

For trips or courses costing less than $3,000, maximum financial assistance will be one-half of the total trip/course fee.

Priority will be given to students who have not previously taken additional cost courses. No financial support is available for any other trip costs, including incidentals, spending money, passport costs, or the like. Please refer to the Immersion Program catalog for course and trip information and fees.
